CREATING AN AUDIOBOOK is an art form that requires more collaboration and work than many people realize, and the professionals who produce audiobooks often hope you won’t notice their best work. Listening to an audiobook is a small-scale, intimate experience. But putting it all together, from text to publication, involves a lot of personnel, many decisions, and a great deal of labor.
